For as long as I can remember I have had an interest in art, as I was always making things and putting together photo albums. I am heavily influenced by my Father who is a creative director. Art has always played a major part of my life and it was on my Digital Design course that I realised my passion and was always full of great ideas. I read art magazines, researched artists and went to exhibitions in my own time.

I am currently studying a Design and Visual Arts Illustration degree at Stockport College. I've learned so much here, but I feel like my creativity is limited and the environment I study in isn't ideal for what I want to be doing. Completing and passing my first year on the Design and Visual Arts course proves I am fully capable to study at degree level. I am looking forward to have the opportunity to put my ideas into practise in an exciting and challenging learning environment.

I am interested in all areas of photography but I am hoping that being on the course will help me to specialise by the second year, using my current knowledge to put this into practice.

I have been thinking in great detail about my future recently and what I want to achieve. I feel I would make a good photographer, freelance curator, or possibly a teacher. I am willing to work for my place in this industry. I am committed, well grounded and I am hard working, self motivated and hope that one day I will be a success.
